The Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild was organized in 1956 to enable weavers to meet and exchange ideas and to learn about weaving through lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. The membership interests have since expanded to include all aspects of fiberart.
In addition to monthly meetings, the Guild sponsors sales and exhibits and participates in the Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair.
The Guild is a founding member and affiliate of the Michigan League of Handweavers and is a member of the Handweavers Guild of America.
